How long do the batteries last?Updated 3 days ago
The lifespan of batteries, regardless of their type, depends largely on the frequency of use and environmental factors. Ambient temperature plays a decisive role here. The type of illuminated reticle is also decisive for the battery’s service life. Daylight illuminated reticles consume more power due to their higher brightness than twilight illuminated reticles. When riflescopes are frequently used in cold temperatures, the battery voltage drops quickly. It is recommended to replace the battery at the beginning of the hunting season to be on the safe side. Keeping a spare battery in a warm pocket also helps avoid unpleasant surprises during winter driven hunts.
